One of anime's freshest action series is already gearing up for its next chapter!

Gachiakuta has officially released a "first look" teaser for Season 2, giving fans an exciting preview of what's coming after the explosive first season. Alongside the teaser, new promotional artwork featuring Zanka and Enjin was also unveiled during Anime Expo and Taiwan's Comic Exhibition, giving fans even more to get hyped about.

If you haven't jumped into Gachiakuta yet, now might be the perfect time.

The story follows Rudo, a boy who grows up in the slums of a floating city where the wealthy literally throw their garbage and anyone they don't want into the abyss below. After being falsely accused of murder, Rudo is cast into this terrifying wasteland, where mountains of trash have evolved into deadly monsters. To survive and uncover the truth, he joins a group known as the Cleaners, warriors who battle these monstrous creations using incredible powers.

With its gritty world, unique graffiti-inspired art style, and intense action, Gachiakuta has quickly become one of the standout new shonen series in recent years.

Our take: If you're looking for a series that feels different from the typical battle anime, Gachiakuta is absolutely worth checking out. The world-building is fascinating, the fights are creative, and after that first season, we're definitely ready to see where Rudo's journey goes next.

My Hero Academia may have ended, but Kōhei Horikoshi isn't done telling stories just yet!

The legendary creator of My Hero Academia is officially returning to Weekly Shonen Jump with a brand-new one-shot manga titled Don't Laugh at Me, Shijima, which releases on August 10.

What's especially exciting is that this won't be another superhero adventure. Instead, Horikoshi is diving into a "boy-meets-girl horror" story, giving fans a chance to see him explore an entirely different genre.

After spending a decade building the world of My Hero Academia—a series that surpassed 100 million copies in circulation worldwide—it's exciting to see what he creates with a clean slate. Horikoshi has always been known for his expressive artwork and memorable characters, so expectations are already sky-high.

And if you're still missing Class 1-A, there's more good news! A short anime based on one of Horikoshi's stories from the My Hero Academia fan book has also begun making its way to audiences, giving fans another reason to revisit the world of heroes.

Our take: It's always exciting when a legendary mangaka starts something new. A horror romance from the creator of My Hero Academia wasn't on our bingo card; but now we're incredibly curious to see what Horikoshi has in store!

The dysfunctional party we all know and love is officially coming back!

During KonoSuba's 10th anniversary celebration, fans got some fantastic news: KonoSuba – God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Season 4 is officially on the way and is set to premiere in 2027!

Along with the announcement, fans were treated to an "ultra teaser" visual, a special anniversary video, and confirmation that the main cast will all be returning to continue Kazuma's hilariously unlucky adventures.

If you've somehow avoided this comedy classic, KonoSuba follows Kazuma, a not-so-lucky adventurer who gets reincarnated into a fantasy world alongside one of the most chaotic groups of companions in anime history: the dramatic goddess Aqua, explosion-obsessed mage Megumin, and the fearless (but hilariously inaccurate) crusader Darkness.

Instead of becoming legendary heroes, the group somehow manages to turn every quest into complete chaos... and that's exactly why fans love them.

To celebrate the series' 10th anniversary, a special video featuring a brand-new arrangement of the iconic opening song "fantastic dreamer" was also revealed, giving longtime fans a healthy dose of nostalgia.

Our take: Ten years later, KonoSuba is still one of the funniest isekai ever made. We honestly can't wait to see what ridiculous situations Kazuma's party gets themselves into next.

The next chapter of Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation is almost here!

Disney has officially announced that Episode of Savanaclaw, the second season of the Twisted-Wonderland anime, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ this December. Along with the announcement, fans also got a brand-new teaser visual featuring Leona Kingscholar, perfectly timed to celebrate his birthday.

If you're new to the series, Twisted-Wonderland offers a unique spin on classic Disney villains. The story follows Yūken Enma, an ordinary high school student who is suddenly transported to the magical world of Night Raven College, a prestigious academy filled with talented students inspired by some of Disney's most iconic villains.

After adapting the Heartslabyul storyline in its first season, the anime is now shifting its focus to Savanaclaw Dorm, led by the charismatic and intimidating Leona Kingscholar. Fans of the original game have been eagerly waiting to see this arc animated, and now the countdown is officially on.

Our take: Twisted-Wonderland continues to be one of the most unique anime adaptations around. Blending Disney inspiration with stylish character designs, magic, and mystery makes it unlike anything else currently airing. If you enjoyed the first season, this next chapter should be a treat.

Another fantasy anime is joining the Fall lineup, and this one comes with a very modern twist.

The World's Strongest Witch: I'm Starting My Free Life in a World Where Only I Can See the Online Strategy Guide has officially confirmed its October 7 premiere, along with a brand-new trailer introducing more of its cast.

The story follows Lorna, a young woman who's cast out by her family after awakening what everyone believes is a completely useless SSS-Rank ability called "Internet." Ouch.

But as it turns out, her mysterious skill lets her access an online strategy guide that no one else can see, giving her knowledge about hidden treasures, powerful equipment, and secrets that completely change the game. Suddenly, the "weakest" witch becomes one of the strongest people in the world... even if she's still trying to figure out what internet slang like "LMFAO" actually means.

It's a fun concept that mixes classic fantasy with a surprisingly modern idea, creating plenty of opportunities for comedy while still delivering the overpowered protagonist fans love.

Our take: We have to admit that the idea of someone accidentally becoming the strongest character because they have access to an online walkthrough is pretty hilarious. If the anime leans into both the comedy and adventure, this could end up being one of Fall's hidden gems.
